6:45 am - The Dummy awakes, grumbly and disheveled, but pumped for her very important certification test!
6:50 am - The Dummy happily makes oatmeal and tea: The Breakfast of Smarties!!
7:10 am - Dummy checks the test website to make sure she will bring all of the necessary materials for success and....what's this? There are two tests offered? Which one did she choose; was it the one she needed? Frantically, she checks the certification website, hoping to be smart and right. Alas, she is the dummy and has paid $115 for the wrong frickin test!
7:15 am - Dummy's groan awakens her long-suffering, much smarter boyfriend. He assists in the logical thinking needed to discern if she can get her money back.
7:25 am - She cannot and decides to stick it to the man by not taking the test and forfeiting her $. (Cause she's just that rebellious)
7:30 am - Hey!! Remember this guy?!
8:00 am - What a weird guy. But he's right those clouds were happy!!!
In other news, Michael used the meat grinder attachment last night to make his own sausage for this ass-kicking lasagna. It made all these weird, slurpy noises and the meat was really oozing out of there in a really gross fashion. In other words: It Was Amazing!
I am a mere 4 days away from the milestone of not posting for a whole month. Alas, like many other things in my life, I cannot follow through. Congratulations to Jen, for her supporting role in my failure to reach this goal.
Anywho, we went up to Bray Creek this past weekend and that's always fun. It was extra special because it was all of our friends together for awhile, since Cody & Bethany are moving in a few days and then everyone is going to start trickling away toward the end of spring. Here's a group picture:
Other exciting things going on in my life include:
- Using my KitchenAid for the first time:

- Having very intense snowdays:

- Getting matching Christmas PJs w/Michael:

- Finding a tree that looks like a prehistoric dinosaur (do you see it?!):

- Getting a new (free!) hat:

- Buying a new computer (from which I type to you now - note who's blog is on the screen):

- Becoming acquainted with the BIGGEST slice of pizza ever:
For a final note, I strongly suggest you all go and see Juno asap, as it will warm the cockles of your heart. As soon as I know how, I'm going to add the soundtrack to this blog, but I'm feeling a little bit lazy on this holiday, which cannot be afforded because I have many things to do. Peace out, homeskillets.
