charts! make me happy

Disclaimer:
"Unpacking" = anything remotely related to getting settled (visiting insurance agencies, setting up TV, and perhaps maybe unpacking a couple boxes)
"Physical Activities" = a late night burglar check (since i walked up stairs) and some other...stuff

Yeah. Productivity. Wish I knew it better

thank god for the internet, right?

so things are better - mostly due to everyone who was so incredibly nice to me yesterday/today and said the most wonderful things! i feel so lucky to have such good friends. and for the record (because michael says last night over the phone: "oh man, i bet everyone thinks i'm such a jerk.") michael is as awesome as he ever was. he's working hard and making money for us and promised to have more forethought when planning out his on-call time (which i didn't know was possible?)

today was full of phone calls/research and not much else besides catnaps and snacking. i have serious motivation problems. on the plus side i now know the incredible amount of steps i need to take to register my car (although really it's like 4). my goal is to get the car business done by tuesday. i also want to get some gosh darn tv up in this place. i'm all for internet television but i miss the siren song of whatever is playing in 4-hour blocks on TNT in the background. it really helps to get me to do things. this is what the progression of an unemployed day looks like if the internet is involved:

hmmm, i'll just find something on netflix to have on while i work.
oh, no mindless shows that i've seen already but still enjoy listening to? (i.e. csi, bones, law & order, icarly) ah well, let's just browse.....oooh! Firefly! i've heard this is great. *CLICK*
~~~3 Hours Later (said in the spongebob announcers voice)~~~
crap! this is too good! no work accomplished. okay, let's try hulu. hmmmm, that Greek show is cheeseballs, let's give it a background noise go.
~~~5 Hours Later~~~
double crap!! still very little accomplished (but i'm so guiltily into this show) oh well, silence it is. ..... oooooorrrr - blogs! online shopping! posting! endless email checking!
~~~that evening~~~
shit. guess i'll just move all those things to do to tomorrow.
and there you have it. it's now time to move beyond unpacking bits and pieces, put on a bra, and hit up the grocery store and target (at like 6:30pm). at least that's one advantage to not having michael around. 1) he'll never know the true extent of my procrastination and 2) i can do my jobs at odd hours (well, most of them).
thanks again for all your good vibes and suggestions. i feel a million times better!! plus, two back to back posts. now who's lucky?
everything sucks
first official new post in the new state: everything sucks. mostly what sucks is michael got called on a fire (Today!) so he will be gone for up to 2 weeks. (which also means that if he's out the whole 2 weeks, i will be gone for my vacation by the time he gets back - ps. how the heck do i get to the airport?)
regardless of when he gets back (being apart for longer is really the least of my worries), i am alone here. like, seriously alone. more alone then i've ever been in my entire life. i don't know a single flippin person in this town - not even ONE. i have no idea how to take care of the house - i had to chase michael down the driveway because i don't even have a key yet. there are very heavy things that i don't think i can move by myself. and, oh yeah, did i mention that i'm alone!? i don't even have an emergency friend across the parking lot in case of danger (heeeyyyy angie!). i don't have someone to meet in the morning to play with. i don't have someone to meet in the afternoon to play with. worst, i don't have my family nearby to go visit because i'm lonely with michael gone. i mean there's not even a tv that i can turn on mindlessly in the background and pretend that i have friends (even if it's douchy matt lauer)
so. Everything Sucks so far.
yay
p.s. just so everyone can get the full scope of this situation: i've been crying for 25 minutes.
