i am not a good game player
i touch everyone's pieces and make orders and insist on sticking to the rules exactly and also become a sore winner/loser. i will work hard to correct all this so you will all play with me. irregardless of my poor sportsmanship, i really enjoyed hanging out with our new friends (who, unbeknownst to them are moving up the ranks of our friend-ladder, meaning they have to hang out with us more often).
during the week, michael & i utilized the powers of the internet to watch nearly a whole season of a show called 'my boys'. i had stayed away from this show because the name was just too lame & i couldn't put myself in the position of having to say "hey, have you seen 'my boys'?" in conversation. fortunately, i've matured (ish) and am happy to say that this show is really funny. if you like Jim Gaffigan, he's in it & the whole package is enjoyable (if you can stomach copious sports/baseball metaphors. although if you read my blog, you probably can handle lame metaphors).
today, our class took a field trip to westfork in sedona. we hiked & i got to wear my new hiking sandals & then swam all afternoon. it was glorious & i feel like we should be doing that more often. if you haven't been to westfork you should definitely make the trip, but be sure to bring the $8 for the parking nazi, who will hunt you down. this trip also marks the countdown to the big graduation ceremony next wednesday. our song is coming along nicely.
speaking of our graduation song, my last topic of this hodge-podge post is that i have finally added a playlist to my blog. it takes it's sweet playlist-ass time to load, but if you scroll to the end & click it, it starts right away. our graduation song (called 'tree hugger') is on it, as well as many oldies but goodies from back in the mountain view days. i'm always looking to make this a blog of the people, so feel free to request!
